European Media Law 2018-2019

Together with prof. Eva Lievens (Ghent University) and prof. Peggy Valcke (KULeuven) we edited a new and extended edition with the most important regulatory instruments in the field of freedom of expression, media law and internet policy (UN, EU and Council of Europe standards). The collection of materials also contains a number of articles and book chapters on various media law related topics, such as the independence of media regulators in Europe, characteristics and developments in the case-law on freedom of expression, media and journalism under the European human rights system, the relation and conflicts between the right to freedom of expression and the right to privacy, children’s rights and media and whistleblowing. More information about the book can be found on the publisher’s website Knopsbooks.com (link)
