Human rights in the digital age

We participated in and contributed to the conference ‘Human rights challenges in the digital age: judicial perspectives’, held in the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg on 28 June. The conference focussed on three major subjects: protecting free expression and privacy in the digital environment, implications of ‘Big Data’, and determining jurisdiction on the World Wide Web. For more information, see the conference’s website. The conference proceedings will be published in a book, later in autumn 2019, edited by Michael O’Boyle.
