The EU and Council of Europe programme “Reinforcing Judicial Expertise on Freedom of Expression and the Media in South-East Europe” (JUFREX) organised two events in October 2018. Legal Human Academy provided a part of the training. In Skopje (link) judges, public prosecutors and lawyers from Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro took part in a train-the-trainers conference focusing on freedom of expression, journalism, privacy and good administration of justice. In Sarajevo (link) representatives of the judiciary, media and civil society participated in an inter-professional seminar to explore the impact of the ECHR on online freedom of expression, ‘hate speech’ and privacy.
